Reviving Hijama Academy was founded by Taher and Nadine — husband and wife, and the two people behind everything you find here.
Taher spent years building deep knowledge across human anatomy, health, training, rehabilitation, and nutrition. When he began approaching health through the lens of the Sunnah, Hijama became the point where both worlds met. Alongside his clinical background, he has spent years in serious Islamic study under scholars of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama'ah and is deeply grounded in the Islamic sciences.
Nadine has been passionate about health and natural healing her entire adult life — grounded in the belief that the body, when supported correctly, has a profound capacity to heal. As her Islamic studies deepened, she developed a particular expertise in female health, reproductive health, and fertility. The first time she experienced Hijama herself, she became an advocate for it immediately. What began as a desire to help friends and family grew into a full-time career and a deep specialisation.
Together they identified a serious gap — high quality Hijama education that genuinely bridges Islamic scholarship with clinical health knowledge. So they built it. Every module reflects both worlds properly. Nadine manages ongoing student support, answering questions daily and mentoring graduates as they build their own practices.

How do I learn the practical side through an online course?
The same way our in-person students do — through detailed step-by-step instructional videos you can pause, rewind, and review as many times as needed. You practise incisions on synthetic skin before working with real clients, and you submit a full practical case study for personal assessment before certification is issued.
Are there assessments?
Yes. Each module includes a quiz you must pass before progressing. For the final assessment you complete a practical Hijama session and submit photos for evaluation. If your technique needs improvement you receive personal feedback and additional attempts. We guide you until you reach the required standard.
What certification will I receive?
Upon successful completion you receive an IPHM-accredited Advanced Diploma in Hijama Therapy — recognised internationally. This enables you to begin offering Hijama professionally or integrate wet cupping into an existing practice.
What payment options are available?
